I Used To Watch A Show About Nothing; I Expected More From This Class
Online “classes” are funny things. Sometimes, they really deliver the goods. Other times, a course is just someone’s marketing hook.
I signed up for a quick email 100 words per day “class” to help kick start my writing. It was unfortunately the latter case.
My expectations weren’t super high. I thought I’d maybe get some daily writing cues and maybe some editing tips.
The course gave me nothing.
No writing ideas. Nothing about editing. Not even what to do if you’re stuck.
It did tell me how great it was to write 100 words a day and how building a habit is important.
Well, I suppose nothing ventured nothing gained, but I could have saved myself the email spam, and written 100 words a day based on the title of the class.
