The Deal That Got Away
I’ve had my eyes on some equipment for a new hobby I’d like to try. It’s nothing terribly extravagant, but it’s not particularly cheap either.
The most basic of beginner equipment seems to lead to upgrades fairly quickly. It’s good kit, but there are some things just aren’t a great experience depending on what you are doing. It’s also hard to find deals on right now due to popularity post covid.
I made a mistake last week where I had a lead for some excellent intermediate to advanced equipment, but I didn’t jump on it. I wasn’t sure I was willing to spend the price and it was a long drive to pickup.
Now that I realize just how great the deal was, I regret not buying it when I had the chance.
It’s the fish that got away. There will be others, but this one still smarts.
